Ardarius Grayson leads Oakland Tech to victory over Alameda

Recap: Oakland Tech Bulldogs vs. Alameda Hornets
The Oakland Tech Bulldogs waltzed into their matchup Tuesday with four straight wins but they left with five. They walked away with a 63-56 victory over Alameda. Given Oakland Tech's advantage in MaxPreps' California basketball rankings (they are ranked 60th, while Alameda is ranked 392nd), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Ardarius Grayson continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, scoring 25 points along with six assists and five rebounds. The matchup was his seventh in a row with at least ten points. Xan Myer-Plettner was another key contributor, scoring 11 points along with six rebounds and three blocks.
Oakland Tech's win bumped their record up to 6-1. As for Alameda, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-2.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Oakland Tech will be home for the holidays to greet Woodinville at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Alameda will be home for the holidays to greet Bethel at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Bethel has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.
