Basketball Recap: Midland Takes a Loss

Midland was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 21st straight loss dating back to last season. They took a blow against Easton Valley, falling 62-35. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Eagles this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 69-39 back in December of 2024.

Midland's defeat dropped their record down to 0-14. As for Easton Valley, their win ended a 14-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 3-10.

Midland has already played their next match (against Marquette), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Easton Valley will be playing in front of their home fans against North Cedar at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Easton Valley has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.
