Soccer Game Preview: Virginia High vs. Richlands

Virginia High is on a six-game streak of home losses, and Richlands a four-game streak of away losses. However, someone's due for a change in luck on Thursday. The Virginia High Bearcats will welcome the Richlands Blue Tornado at 7:00 p.m. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

Virginia High came up short against Tazewell on Tuesday, falling 4-1. Virginia High were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 3-0.

Meanwhile, after soaring to six goals the game before, Richlands was a bit more limited in their contest on Tuesday. They lost 7-0 to Graham. While losing is never fun, Richlands can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Virginia soccer rankings (they are ranked 266th, while Graham are ranked 45th).

Richlands' defeat dropped their record down to 3-10. As for Virginia High, their loss dropped their record down to 3-9.
