Baseball Recap: Elkmont Has No Trouble Against Athens Bible

Elkmont never let their opponents score on Friday. They put the hurt on the Athens Bible Trojans with a sharp 15-0 victory. The Red Devils have beaten the Trojans the last five times they've met, but they better watch out: this was the closest the Trojans has come to flipping the script.

Jake Hargrove tossed a big game, not allowing a single earned run and allowed only one hit over five innings pitched.

On the hitting side, the team relied heavily on Corder Hobbs, who fired off two home runs and seven RBI while going 2-for-3. Those seven RBI gave him a new career-high. Jake Guthrie was another key player, scoring three runs while going 3-for-4.
