Baseball Game Preview: Parkland Mustangs vs. East Forsyth Eagles

Parkland hasn't had much luck against East Forsyth recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. Parkland will head out on the road to face off against East Forsyth at 6:00 p.m. Parkland has given up an average of 16.6 runs per game this season, but Tuesday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Friday just wasn't the day for Parkland's offense. They came up short against Davie on Friday, falling 15-0. Having soared to a lofty 15 runs in the game before, the Mustangs' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Meanwhile, East Forsyth entered their tilt with Glenn on Friday with two consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with three. They came within a single run of losing the streak, but they secured a 5-4 W against the Bobcats.

East Forsyth pushed their record up to 8-3 with the victory, which was their third straight at home. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 7.0 runs over those games. As for Parkland, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-10.

Parkland suffered a grim 14-1 defeat to East Forsyth when the teams last played back in March of 2024. Can Parkland avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
