Softball Preview: Walnut Wildcats vs. Smithville Seminoles
The Walnut Wildcats will face off against the Smithville Seminoles at 5:15 p.m. on Thursday. The two teams are strolling into their contests after big wins in their previous games.
Walnut's pitching crew heads into the match hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Friday. They blew past Hickory Flat 10-0. The victory continues a trend for the Wildcats in their matchups with the Rebels: they've now won seven in a row.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Smithville). Everything went their way against West Lowndes on Thursday as Smithville made off with a 15-0 win.
The victory got Walnut back to even at 3-3. As for Smithville, their win bumped their record up to 2-3.
