Dothan had already won nine in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 14.1 runs) and they went ahead and made it ten on Saturday. They blew past the Pike Road Patriots 11-5. The result was nothing new for the Wolves, who have now won 17 contests by six runs or more so far this season.

Dothan's victory bumped their record up to 24-11. As for Pike Road, their defeat dropped their record down to 19-10.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming matchups. Dothan will head out to face off against Enterprise at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the Wolves 2.7, the Wildcats 2.6) so any runs scored will be well earned. As for Pike Road, they will take on Park Crossing at 4:30 p.m. on Monday.
