Football Recap: Marlboro Takes a Loss

Friday just wasn't the day for Marlboro's offense. They came up short against the Wall Township Crimson Knights on Friday, falling 21-0. The Mustangs just can't catch a break and have now endured six defeats in a row.

Marlboro's loss dropped their record down to 2-6. As for Wall Township, their win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 5-2.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming contests. Marlboro will face off against Red Bank Catholic at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Caseys' defense has only allowed 12.1 points per game this season, so the Mustangs' offense will have their work cut out for them. As for Wall Township, they will head out to take on St. John-Vianney at 6:30 p.m. on Friday.
