Glenn hasn't had much luck against Plymouth recently, but that could start to change on Monday. The Rockets will welcome the Wildcats at 4:00 p.m. Glenn will be strutting in after a win while Plymouth will be coming in after a defeat.
Having struggled with four losses in a row, Glenn turned things around against Sterling Heights Stevenson on Saturday. They blew past the Titans 11-2. The Rockets' hitters stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most runs they've scored all season.

Chelsie VanHooser made a big impact while hitting and pitching. She struck out nine batters over seven innings while giving up just one earned (and one unearned) run off six hits. She has been consistent recently: she hasn't given up more than two walks in three consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate, getting on base in all four of her plate appearances with three RBI.
In other batting news, Glenn let Sam Farrell and Rylie Sansom run wild. Farrell scored two runs and stole a base while going 3-for-5, while Sansom scored two runs while going 3-for-5. That's the most hits Farrell has posted since back in May of 2024. Another player making a difference was Niveah Leleniewski, who scored two runs and stole a base.
Glenn hit smart and finished the game with only two strikeouts. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Sterling Heights Stevenson struck out nine times.
Meanwhile, Plymouth fought the good fight in their extra-innings contest against St. Mary Catholic Central on Saturday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They fell just short of the Falcons/Kestrels by a score of 5-3. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest defeat the Wildcats have suffered since May 1, 2024.
Skylar Weil spent all nine innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered three earned runs on nine hits and racked up six Ks.
On the hitting side, Emma McAvoy and Natalie McCall did some serious damage despite the final result: McAvoy went 2-for-4 with two doubles, one stolen base, and one RBI, while McCall scored a run while going 2-for-3. Hannah Simko was another key player, scoring a run and stealing two bases while going 1-for-4.
Glenn's victory bumped their record up to 2-5. As for Plymouth, they now have a losing record of 1-2.
