Softball Preview: Glenn Rockets vs. Plymouth Wildcats

Glenn hasn't had much luck against Plymouth recently, but that could start to change on Monday. The Rockets will welcome the Wildcats at 4:00 p.m. Glenn will be strutting in after a win while Plymouth will be coming in after a defeat.

Having struggled with four losses in a row, Glenn turned things around against Sterling Heights Stevenson on Saturday. They blew past the Titans 11-2. The Rockets' hitters stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most runs they've scored all season.

Chelsie VanHooser made a big impact while hitting and pitching. She struck out nine batters over seven innings while giving up just one earned (and one unearned) run off six hits. She has been consistent recently: she hasn't given up more than two walks in three consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate, getting on base in all four of her plate appearances with three RBI.
