Scotland found their leader in sophomore Dixon, who went 5 for 11 on his way to 22 points in addition to six rebounds and three steals. The dominant performance gave Dixon a new career-high in steals. The team also got some help courtesy of LaSean Pittman, who posted 11 points and seven boards.
