After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Collinsville, Memorial was happy to have turned things around on Friday. Their defense stepped up to hand the Tahlequah Tigers a 3-0 shutout. Memorial might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won four contests by three goals or more this season.

Memorial's win was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 7-2. The home victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up two goals over those five matchups. As for Tahlequah, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 8-5.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Memorial will take on rival Midwest City at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Tahlequah is set to challenge their familiar foe Booker T. Washington at 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
