Basketball Recap: Manatee Hurricanes vs. Armwood Hawks
Manatee had to endure a four-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They managed a 69-64 win over the Armwood Hawks on Saturday.

Manatee got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Keith Fields out in front who went 5 for 12 on his way to 19 points in addition to six boards and five steals. The game was Fields' fifth in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Detmer Steffensen, who almost dropped a double-double on 18 points and nine boards.
Despite the loss, Armwood still got an impressive performance from Jayden Dryden, who went 9 of 11 on his way to 21 points along with five rebounds and three blocks. Talon Mckinnie was another key player, putting up seven points in addition to eight assists and six boards.
Manatee now has a winning record of 7-6. As for Armwood, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 6-6.
Manatee wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 61-56 win against Riverview Sarasota on the 30th. As for Armwood, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 79-61 victory against Dunbar on the 30th.
