Softball Recap: South Carroll Now 6-1 over Last Seven Games

It may have taken nine innings to finish the job, but South Carroll ultimately got the result they hoped for on Wednesday. They skirted past the Liberty Lions 11-10. The high-scoring effort was just what the Cavaliers needed considering they were shut out in their previous matchup.

South Carroll has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-3 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.4 runs over those games. As for Liberty, their defeat was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 1-5-1.

South Carroll has already played their next game, a 10-3 win against Francis Scott Key on the 25th. Liberty has also already played their next matchup (against Century), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
