Volleyball Recap: Coronado Now 8-2 over Last Ten Games

Coronado saw some tournament action on Friday. They won by a set and slipped past the Mission Hills Grizzlies 2-1.

When it comes to explaining why Mission Hills lost, don't look at Noah Buhler. Despite the final result, he had 13 assists and three digs. Buhler has been hot, having posted 12 or more assists the last eight times he's played.

Coronado is on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last ten contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 17-11 record this season. As for Mission Hills, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 12-7 record this season.

Coronado wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 2-0 victory against Point Loma on the 26th. As for Mission Hills, they have also already played their next contest, a 2-1 defeat against El Cajon Valley on the 25th.
