It may have taken eight innings to finish the job, but Beaver ultimately got the result they hoped for on Thursday. They won by a run and slipped past the Duchesne Eagles 9-8. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Beavers have posted since March 15th.

KaBella Low looked comfortable as she pitched three innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. She has been consistent: she hasn't given up more than two walks in eight consecutive appearances.

On the hitting side, the team relied heavily on Danzee Bradshaw, who went 3-for-4 with two doubles, one stolen base, and two RBI. The team also got some help courtesy of Jerzee Beaumont, who went 2-for-5 with one run, one double, and one RBI.

Beaver's win bumped their record up to 19-8. As for Duchesne, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 17-7.

Beaver does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Duchesne, they will head out on the road to face off against North Summit at 2:00 p.m. on Friday. The Eagles are facing the Braves at the right time seeing as the Braves are stuck on a ten-game losing streak.
