Volleyball Game Preview: Hope Blue Wave vs. Mt. Pleasant Kilties

The Hope Blue Wave will head out to face off against the Mt. Pleasant Kilties at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.

Hope is probably headed into the match with a chip on their shoulder considering Mt. Hope just ended the team's nine-game winning streak on Tuesday. They lost 3-0 to the Huskies. Considering the last time the Blue Wave couldn't score was back in March, the team can't take the result too hard.

Hope was was forced to take the loss, but they sure made Mt. Hope work for it, especially in the second set. The final score came out to 25-22, 27-25, 25-20.

Meanwhile, Mt. Pleasant can bid farewell to their five-game losing streak thanks to their game on Tuesday. They narrowly escaped with a victory as the squad sidled past Exeter-West Greenwich 3-2.

The win was their first on the road , bumping their record up to 3-9. As for Hope, their loss dropped their record down to 9-3.

Hope came out on top in a nail-biter against Mt. Pleasant when the teams last played back in April, sneaking past 3-2. Will the Blue Wave repeat their success, or do the Kilties have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
