Softball Recap: Fairfield Takes a Loss

Fairfield fell victim to Littlestown and their airtight pitching crew on Monday. They lost 16-0 to the Thunderbolts. The contest marked the first time this year in which the Knights were not able to get on the board.

This is the second loss in a row for Fairfield and nudges their season record down to 1-5. As for Littlestown, their victory ended a four-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 5-3.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Fairfield will take on rival Hanover at 4:15 p.m. on Wednesday. Meanwhile, Littlestown is set to challenge their familiar foe York County Tech at 4:15 p.m. on Wednesday.
