Football Recap: Platte County Gets the Win

It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Platte County had no problem doing just that on Friday. They never let the St. Pius X Warriors get on the board and left with a 42-0 win. 42 seems to be a good number for the Pirates as the team scooped up a victory with the same number of points in their previous game.

Platte County's record now sits at 10-0. As for St. Pius X, they moved to 6-5 with that defeat, which also ended their four-game winning streak.

Looking ahead, Platte County will square off against Rockhurst at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Pirates will need to watch out since the Hawklets have now posted at least 31 points in their last three contests. St. Pius X does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
