Basketball Recap: French Settlement Makes It Seven in a Row at Home

French Settlement lost to Albany back in December of 2014, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Wednesday. The French Settlement Lions walked away with a 52-44 victory over the Albany Hornets. Winning may never get old, but the Lions sure are getting used to it with their fourth in a row.

French Settlement's win was their seventh straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 9-3. As for Albany, the loss snapped their winning streak at three games and leaves them with a 6-4 record.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. A feisty cat fight will be fought when the French Settlement Lions duke it out with the East St. John Wildcats at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Albany, they will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Holden at 6:00 p.m. on January 7, 2025.
