Volleyball Recap: Decatur Comes Up Short

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Decatur can now relate to. They came up short against the Severna Park Falcons on Friday, falling 3-0. While getting shut out isn't ideal, the Seahawks haven't been shut out since back in September.

Among those leading the charge was Jennifer Hong, who had nine digs and four aces. She is on a roll when it comes to aces, as she's now served two or more in each of the last ten games she's played.

With the defeat, Decatur broke their three-match winning streak and moved their record to 9-5. As for Severna Park, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-5 record this season.

Decatur does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Severna Park, they will head out on the road to challenge Arundel at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
