Soccer Game Preview: Las Lomas vs. Emerald

The Las Lomas Knights are taking a road trip to face off against the Emerald Aerouants at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday. Neither squad made it on the board the last time they hit the pitch, so they've probably got a bit of extra motivation.

Las Lomas fell victim to Clayton Valley Charter and their airtight defense on Thursday. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Ugly Eagles. While losing is never fun, Las Lomas can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California soccer rankings (they are ranked 61st, while Clayton Valley Charter are ranked tenth).

Meanwhile, Emerald lost 5-1 to Roseland University Prep on Thursday. Emerald have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Las Lomas' loss dropped their record down to 13-5. As for Emerald, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-18-1.
