Basketball Game Preview: Providence Day Chargers vs. Carmel Christian Cougars

The Providence Day Chargers will venture away from home to take on the Carmel Christian Cougars at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Providence Day will be looking to extend their current 16-game winning streak.

Providence Day is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Friday. They put the hurt on Wesleyan Christian Academy with a sharp 70-49 victory. The Chargers have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 14 matchups by 20 points or more this season.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Carmel Christian, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Thursday. They had just enough and edged Ravenscroft out 56-53.

Providence Day's win was their 16th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 27-4. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 69.6 points over those games. As for Carmel Christian, their victory bumped their record up to 17-8.
