            Volleyball Recap: Amador Buffaloes vs. El Dorado Cougars        
        
		
        
        
            Amador lost against El Dorado back in September and unfortunately they wound up with the same result  on Thursday. The Buffaloes fell just short of the Cougars by a score of  3-2. The Buffaloes have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.
 Amador took a 2-1 lead headed into the fourth set, but sadly they lost the next two. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 23-25, 26-24, 17-25, 25-18,  15-11.
 Payton White McCarty paced Amador's offense, picking up 17 kills. White McCarty got some help from  Kameryn Link and her eight assists. Finally,  Lisla Watts kept Amador's defense grounded, leading the team with ten blocks.
 Among those leading the charge was   Hailey Kroeker, who  had 11  digs and three  assists. Those  three assists gave  her a new career-high.
Amador's defeat dropped their record down to 14-13. As for El Dorado, their win was  their ninth straight at home, which  pushed their record up to 18-8.
 We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Amador is set to  challenge  their familiar foe Argonaut  at 6:30  p.m.  on Tuesday. Meanwhile, El Dorado will  square off against  rival Union Mine  at 6:30  p.m.  on Tuesday.
