Shelby entered their tilt with Pleasant on Monday with four consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with five. They blew past the Spartans 15-2. The Whippets might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won six contests by six runs or more this season.

Shelby's victory bumped their record up to 10-6. As for Pleasant, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost five of their last six games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-9 record this season.

Pleasant will challenge North Union at 12:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Shelby will be paying especially close attention to the Spartans' matchup: after the Spartans face off against the Wildcats, they'll take on Shelby again at 5:15 p.m. on Wednesday.
