Softball Recap: North Iredell Puts Losing Streak Behind Them

North Iredell can bid farewell to their six-game losing streak thanks to their game on Monday. They never let the Statesville Greyhounds get on the board and left with a 15-0 victory. The result was nothing new for the Raiders, who have now won four contests by six runs or more so far this season.

North Iredell's win bumped their record up to 5-8. As for Statesville, they are on a 26-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-12.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. North Iredell will host St. Stephens at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Indians' pitching crew has only allowed 3.6 runs per game this season, so the Raiders' hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for Statesville, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Hickory at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Greyhounds are facing the Red Tornadoes at the right time seeing as the Red Tornadoes are stuck on an eight-game losing streak.
