Baseball Game Preview: San Antonio HomeSchool Wolverines vs. Cornerstone Christian Warriors

San Antonio HomeSchool is 0-10 against Cornerstone Christian since April of 2021 but things could change on Friday. The Wolverines will venture away from home to take on the Warriors at 7:00 p.m.

San Antonio HomeSchool is headed into the matchup having just suffered their closest defeat since February 28th on Tuesday. They fell just short of Pleasanton by a score of 4-2. The Wolverines have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

San Antonio HomeSchool saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Josh R, who went 1-for-3 with two RBI.

Meanwhile, Cornerstone Christian entered their tilt with Del Rio on Tuesday with four consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with five. They never let the Rams get on the board and left with a 4-0 win.

Cornerstone Christian's victory bumped their record up to 21-5. As for San Antonio HomeSchool, their loss dropped their record down to 10-15-1.

San Antonio HomeSchool came up short against Cornerstone Christian in their previous meeting last Tuesday, falling 4-1. Can the Wolverines avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
