William Stackhouse leads Altoona-Midway to victory over St. Paul

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Pleasanton, the Altoona-Midway Jets were happy to have found some success on Tuesday. They walked away with a 57-45 victory over St. Paul. For Altoona-Midway, this counts as revenge for the 60-54 loss the Indians walked away with the last time they faced one another back in February of 2023.

It was another big night for William Stackhouse, who dropped a double-double on 22 points and 15 rebounds. Stackhouse is crushing the steal category: he's posted at least two every time he's taken the court this season. Kieran Foster was another key contributor, scoring 15 points.

Altoona-Midway's victory bumped their record up to 9-6. As for St. Paul, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-14.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Altoona-Midway will face off against the Vikings at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are closely ranked in Kansas (Northeast is ranked 296th, while the Jets are ranked 280th). As for St. Paul, they will head out on the road to face off against the Jayhawks at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
