Basketball Game Preview: Trinity Christian Eagles vs. Leroy Greene Academy Lions

Having just played yesterday, the Trinity Christian Eagles will jump right back in to play the Leroy Greene Academy Lions at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Trinity Christian is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 54.9 points per game this season.

Trinity Christian easily dispatched Encina on Tuesday, but unfortunately both the margin and the ultimate result were a different story in this one. Trinity Christian fell just short of Mira Loma by a score of 55-52 on Thursday. The Eagles' defeat signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

The loss doesn't tell the whole story though, as several players had good games. One of the most active was Christofer Thomas, who posted 19 points. Lucas Hiriscau was another key player, putting up 14 points.

Meanwhile, Leroy Greene Academy played a tough contest on Tuesday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They were outmatched by Western Sierra Collegiate Academy and fell 63-28. The Lions were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 32-12.

This is the second loss in a row for Leroy Greene Academy and nudges their season record down to 1-5. As for Trinity Christian, their loss dropped their record down to 8-2.
