            Volleyball Recap: Tomahawk Hatchets vs. Northland Pines Eagles        
        
		
        
        
            Tomahawk lost against Northland Pines last Thursday and unfortunately they wound up with the same result  on Saturday. The Hatchets took  a  3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Eagles.
 The match finished with set scores of 25-23, 20-25, 25-12,  25-15.
 Siennah Calkins paced Tomahawk's offense, picking up 14 kills. Calkins got some help from  Shelby Borowski and her 30 assists.
 Northland Pines found their leader in sophomore  Eden Smith, who  had 22  digs and one  assist. Smith is  on a roll when it comes to  digs, as she's  now  had ten or more in each of the last six games she's  played.
Tomahawk has  traveled a rocky road recently, having  lost six of their last eight matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 14-17 record  this season. As for Northland Pines, they have  been performing  well recently as they've  won five of their last six matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 20-12 record  this season.
As of now, neither Tomahawk nor Northland Pines have any future games scheduled.
