Basketball Recap: Lake Forest Takes a Loss

Lake Forest was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their tenth straight loss. They took a 30-23 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Sussex Tech Ravens. The Spartans were not able to make up for their defeat to the Ravens from their previous meeting back in December of 2022.

Lake Forest's loss dropped their record down to 5-18. As for Sussex Tech, they have been performing well recently as they've won six of their last eight games. That's provided a massive bump to their 10-9 record this season.

While Lake Forest had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 5:15 p.m. on Thursday.
