Skyview extended their winning streak to 11 games thanks to a huge performance from Nevaeh Lucero. The Skyview Wolverines blew past the Thornton Trojans 64-12 on Thursday thanks in part to Lucero, who went 10-for-15 en route to 21 points and eight steals. She has been hot for a while, having posted three or more steals the last 11 times she's played.

Another player making a difference was Yzabella Tafoya, who posted 15 points in addition to seven boards and five steals. Those five steals gave her a new career-high.

Skyview's win was their ninth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 17-4. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 54.6 points over those games. As for Thornton, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-16.

Looking ahead, Skyview will take on Adams City at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Skyview is facing Adams City at the right time seeing as Adams City is stuck on a four-game losing streak. Thornton does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
