Roncalli barely beat Southport the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Royals were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Cardinals on Monday. The victory was familiar territory for the Royals, who have now won five contests in a row.

Roncalli walked away with the win (and looked especially good in the second set). Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-17, 25-15, 25-19.

Among those leading the charge was Noah Meyer, who had nine digs and three aces. That's the most digs he has posted over his last seven matchups.

Roncalli pushed their record up to 8-3 with the victory, which was their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season. As for Southport, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 7-9.

Roncalli wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 3-0 win against North Central on the 23rd. Southport has also already played their next contest (against Lawrence Central), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
