Volleyball Recap: Whitney Young Takes a Loss

Whitney Young saw some tournament action on Saturday. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Evanston Wildkits. The Dolphins have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

The loss didn't mean the game wasn't competitive: Evanston scored at least 20 points in every set. The final score came out to 25-20, 25-21.

Whitney Young's defeat dropped their record down to 14-14. As for Evanston, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 16-17 record this season.

Whitney Young wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 2-0 win against Boylan Catholic on the 17th. As for Evanston, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 2-0 victory against Jones on the 17th.
