Volleyball Recap: Lake Mills Wins Going Away Against Poynette

Lake Mills won the last time they faced Poynette and things went their way on Thursday too. The L-Cats were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Pumas. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the L-Cats.

Lake Mills walked away with the win (and looked especially good in the second set). The match finished with set scores of 25-17, 25-13, 25-16.

Among those leading the charge was Tayte Crenshaw, who had 14 digs and three aces. That's the most digs she has posted over her last seven contests. Isabella Maertz also deserves some recognition as she served her first aces of the season.

They weren't the only good server: Lake Mills was lethal from the service line and finished the game with ten aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least six aces in four consecutive matches.

Lake Mills' victory bumped their record up to 12-5. As for Poynette, they dropped their record down to 3-14 with the loss, which was their seventh straight on the road dating back to last season.
