 Floyd Central is 9-0 against Jeffersonville since April of 2015, and they'll have a chance to extend that success  on Monday. The Floyd Central Highlanders will head out on the road to  challenge  the Jeffersonville Red Devils at 6:00  p.m. Floyd Central is looking to tack on another W to their six-game streak on the road dating back to last season.
 Floyd Central can now show off seven landslide victories after their most recent  game  on Friday. They blew past Salem 11-0.
 Floyd Central let  Breleigh Lockhart and  Elise Coleman loose on the outfield. Lockhart  went 2-for-2 with a  home run, six  RBI,  and two  runs, while  Coleman  went 2-for-3 with a  home run, three  RBI,  and two  runs. The team also got some help courtesy of  Olive Kinder, who  went 1-for-2 with a  triple and  an  RBI.
 Meanwhile, Jeffersonville didn't have quite enough to beat Jennings County on Friday and fell  2-1. That's two games in a row now that Jeffersonville has lost by  just one  run.
  Emma Borders spent all 11 innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered only one earned  (and one unearned) run on seven hits and racked up nine Ks. She has been consistent recently: she hasn't  pitched less than five  innings in seven consecutive pitching appearances.
 At the plate,  Brookelyn Miles was cooking despite her team's loss,   going 1-for-4 with a  home run and a  stolen base.
 Floyd Central's win bumped their record up to 13-3. As for Jeffersonville, they have  traveled a rocky road recently having  lost three of their last four matches,  which put a noticeable dent in their 6-3 record  this season.
 The pitchers for both teams better look sharp  on Monday as neither team is afraid to steal. Floyd Central has been swiping bases left and right this season,  having  averaged 6.2  stolen bases per game. However, it's not like Jeffersonville struggles in that department as   they've been averaging 4.4. The only question left is which team can snag more.
 Floyd Central took their  victory against Jeffersonville  in their previous matchup  back in April of 2023 by a conclusive  8-1. The rematch might be a little tougher for Floyd Central since the  team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
