Volleyball Recap: Cannon Falls Takes a Loss

If Cannon Falls was feeling good fresh off their 3-0 takedown of Lourdes on Tuesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Bombers fell 2-0 to the White Bear Lake Bears on Friday.

Emma Templin paced Cannon Falls' offense, picking up four kills. Templin got some help from LIbby Sampson and her 12 assists. Sampson was also solid from the service line: she led the team with two aces.

Cannon Falls' defeat dropped their record down to 11-10. As for White Bear Lake, the win (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 12-4.

Cannon Falls didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 victory against Mille Lacs co-op [Isle/Onamia] on the 3rd. As for White Bear Lake, they will look to defend their home court on Monday against Irondale at 7:00 p.m.
