Baseball Recap: Case's Loss Ends Four-Game Winning Streak at Home

Case fell victim to Cohasset and their airtight pitching crew on Monday. They took a 4-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Skippers.

Aedan Borges spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered four runs (all of which were unearned) on three hits and racked up seven Ks. He also tossed no earned runs, which is notable because Case is 6-2 when he allows at most two earned runs, but 3-10 otherwise.

At the plate, Case saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Zachary Kern, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base.

Case's defeat ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 9-12. As for Cohasset, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 11-10.

As of now, neither Case nor the Skippers have any future games scheduled.
