Volleyball Recap: Julian's Victory on Tuesday Extends Winning Streak to Three

Julian entered their tilt with Calexico Mission on Tuesday with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. They blew past the RoadRunners 3-0. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-0 last Tuesday.

The match finished with set scores of 25-16, 25-5, 25-12.

Hailey Bennett paced Julian's offense, picking up nine kills. Bennett got some help from Cami Siraton and her ten assists. Janeyris Henriquez controlled things from the service line, finishing with eight aces.

Julian now has a winning record of 9-8. As for Calexico Mission, they dropped their record down to 0-12 with the loss, which was their fourth straight at home dating back to last season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming matches. Julian will take on Mountain Empire at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Calexico Mission, they will square off against West Shores at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
