Basketball Game Preview: Oconee County Warriors vs. Northeast Raiders

The Oconee County Warriors and the Northeast Raiders will round out the year against one another at at 1:00 p.m. on Friday. Oconee County is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 53.3 points per game this season.

Last Saturday, Oconee County ended up a good deal behind Jackson County and lost 68-52. The Warriors have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Despite the defeat, Oconee County had strong showings from Bo Hogan, who went 7 of 9 on his way to 16 points and five rebounds, and William Grayson Hockaday, who posted 15 points and six rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Mason Hall, who had seven points.

Meanwhile, Northeast scored the most points they've had this season on Friday, but it wasn't enough. They took a blow against Westside, falling 76-49. The Raiders were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 49-25.

Northeast's loss dropped their record down to 1-4. As for Oconee County, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-7.
