Football Recap: Christoval Gets the Win

Christoval lost to Reagan County back in October of 2024, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Friday. The Cougars snuck past the Owls with a 30-24 win. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Cougars.

Ty Debusk threw for 94 yards on four of ten attempts. Max Hughes was his top target, picking up 52 receiving yards.

Despite the loss, Reagan County still got an impressive performance from Kaden Galindo, who rushed for 26 yards and two TDs, and also picked up 68 receiving yards. The Owls also got a significant boost from Hector Rios, who ran away from the competition to the tune of 85 yards.

Christoval now has a winning record of 4-3. As for Reagan County, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-5.
