After each having a week off, the Yuma Criminals and the Dysart Demons will shake off the cobwebs and face off against one another at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Yuma is no doubt hoping to put an end to a three-game streak of away losses.
Yuma is headed into the game having just posted their biggest victory since September 15, 2023 last Friday. They were the clear victor by a 30-7 margin over Kofa. The contest was all but wrapped up at the end of the third, by which point the Criminals had established a 22 point advantage.
Meanwhile, Dysart waltzed into their matchup last Friday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They came out on top against the Demons by a score of 42-35.
A big part of Dysart's win came down to the chemistry between Isaiah Roman and his top target Donovan Hinchey. Roman threw for 167 yards and two touchdowns while Hinchey picked up 112 receiving yards and three touchdowns.
Dysart wouldn't let Greenway keep a hold of the ball as they managed to force three fumbles. It was truly a group effort as Julian Miranda, Mincheal D'Olivo, and Noah Ramirez picked up one apiece. What's more, Ramirez also racked up 25 rushing yards, the mosthe's had since back in September of 2023.
Yuma's victory ended a six-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 1-4. As for Dysart, they now have a winning record of 3-2.

Thankfully for Yuma, Kye Brown (who rushed for 108 yards and two touchdowns on only ten carries, and also threw for 79 yards and two touchdowns) won't be suiting up this time.
