Softball Game Preview: Waukesha North Northstars vs. Catholic Memorial Crusaders

The Waukesha North Northstars will square off against the Catholic Memorial Crusaders at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. Waukesha North is coming into the game on a five-game losing streak.

Last Wednesday, Waukesha North came up short against Muskego and fell 5-1.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Catholic Memorial). They were the clear victors by a 13-6 margin over Delavan-Darien on Friday. The win was some much needed relief for the Crusaders as it spelled an end to their four-game losing streak.

Waukesha North's loss dropped their record down to 1-6. As for Catholic Memorial, their victory bumped their record up to 4-8.

Everything went Waukesha North's way against Catholic Memorial in their previous meeting back in May of 2024, as Waukesha North made off with a 14-3 win. Will the Northstars repeat their success, or do the Crusaders have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
