Volleyball Recap: Eldorado Firehawks vs. Cheyenne Desert Shields
Eldorado was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Cheyenne Desert Shields. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Firehawks of the 3-1 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in August of 2023.
The match finished with set scores of 25-12, 25-20.
Eldorado's defeat dropped their record down to 6-18. As for Cheyenne, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 11-18-1.
Eldorado does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Cheyenne, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 loss against Silverado on the 19th.
