Basketball Recap: Kwigillingok Gets the Win

Kuinerrarmiut Elitnaurviat came into Thursday's match looking for another win against Kwigillingok, but Caiden Nichols wouldn't allow it. The Kwigillingok Eagles blew past the Kuinerrarmiut Elitnaurviat Seahawks 76-53 on Thursday thanks in part to Nichols, who posted 38 points. His big performance that afternoon made it seven games in a row in which he has scored at least 18 points.

The team also got some help courtesy of Christopher Lewis, who earned 16 points. He continues to improve, besting his previous point total in each of the last three games he's played.

Kwigillingok's victory bumped their record up to 2-8. As for Kuinerrarmiut Elitnaurviat, they dropped their record down to 1-6 with the loss, which was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season.

Kwigillingok wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, an 82-33 defeat against Eek on the 21st. Kuinerrarmiut Elitnaurviat does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
