Basketball Game Preview: Lincoln Trojans vs. Florida State University High School Seminoles

The Lincoln Trojans will head out to take on the Florida State University High School Seminoles at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.

Lincoln's tournament run continued when they took on Williston on Saturday. Lincoln received a blow as they fell 78-62 to Williston. While losing is never fun, the Trojans can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Florida basketball rankings (they are ranked 93rd, while the Red Devils are ranked 27th).

Meanwhile, Florida State University High School earned a 49-41 victory over Buchholz on Saturday.

Lincoln better keep an eye on Tori Davis. She was instrumental in Florida State University High School's win, putting up 18 points. The dominant performance gave Davis a new career-high in points. The team also got some help courtesy of Christal Collins, who posted ten points.

Lincoln's loss dropped their record down to 11-5. As for Florida State University High School, their record is now 8-9.

Lincoln suffered a grim 58-36 defeat to Florida State University High School in their previous meeting back in December of 2024. Can Lincoln avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
