Football Recap: Battle Ground's Win Ends Four-Game Losing Streak at Home + How To Watch

Battle Ground hadn't done well against Union recently (they were 2-7 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Friday. The Tigers put the hurt on the Titans with a sharp 38-14 win. The result was nothing new for the Tigers, who have now won four contests by 24 points or more so far this season.

Ethan Adams produced another solid performance throwing for 241 yards and three touchdowns while picking up 11.0 yards per attempt, and also rushing for 31 yards. His passing game has become a key predictor of Battle Ground's success: the team is undefeated when his passer rating is 110 or higher, but only 2-4 otherwise. 87 of Adams' passing yards were hauled in by Broderick Heerlein, who also brought in a receiving touchdown.

Battle Ground's victory ended a four-game drought at home and bumped them up to 5-4. As for Union, their loss was their fourth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 2-7.

Coming up, Battle Ground will face off against Bothell at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Union does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
