Soccer Recap: Buchanan Triumphs

Buchanan kept a clean sheet against Torres on Friday. They had just enough and edged out the Toros 1-0. That's two games straight that Buchanan have won by just one goal.

Their one-goal win came courtesy of Lucca Bruno, which was the first he's scored this season.

The win made it two in a row for Buchanan and bumps their season record up to 2-0-1. As for Torres, their defeat was their first of the season and makes their record 3-1-1.

Looking ahead, Buchanan will play host again on Friday to welcome Kerman, where kickoff is scheduled at 12:40 p.m. Buchanan's defense better be ready for this one: Kerman have averaged an impressive 2.8 goals per game this season. As for Torres, they will take on Atwater in a tournament on Friday.
