Basketball Recap: Westwood Comes Up Short

Westwood has relied on a stalwart defense averaging 27.43 points allowed per game, but that average took a hit on Wednesday. They took a 55-46 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Memphis School of Excellence Winchester Eagles. The Longhorns have struggled against the Eagles recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost matchup.

Westwood's defeat dropped their record down to 12-9. As for Memphis School of Excellence Winchester, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 14 of their last 15 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 21-2 record this season.
