Baseball Recap: Leflore Comes Up Short

After soaring to 12 runs the game before, Leflore was a bit more limited in their contest on Wednesday. They came up short against the Whitesboro Bulldogs, falling 10-2. The Savages have struggled against the Bulldogs recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive lost meeting.

Leflore's loss was their first in the district, dropping their district record down to 1-1-1 and their overall record down to 12-8-1. As for Whitesboro, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 12-7.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: the Bulldogs beat Leflore by a score of 7-5 on Friday.
