Flag Football Recap: Lassiter Takes a Loss

Lassiter had lost five straight on the road dating back to last season, but on Monday they dropped down to 3-4 to make it six. They were outmatched by the Milton Eagles and fell 27-0. The game marked the first time this year in which the Trojans were not able to get on the board.

As for Milton, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 9-1. That looming 27-0 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for them yet this season.

Milton got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Audrey Jensen out in front who threw for 178 yards and four TDs on only 14 passes. What's more, Jensen racked up 147.3 passer rating, the most she's had since back in December of 2024. Alana Calhoun was another key receiver, picking up 87 receiving yards and a pair of scores.

Coming up, Lassiter will venture away from home to square off against North Paulding at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Wolfpack's defense has only allowed 11 points per game this season, so the Trojans' offense will have their work cut out for them. As for Milton, they will challenge St. Anne-Pacelli at 7:15 p.m. on Wednesday.
